Welcome to Prima Academy of Performing Arts, established 1997. Regular dance and Musical Theatre classes are held in Washington, Tyne & Wear.
Children can join dance classes at Prima from the age of 1 year old and there are various options for children and teenagers of all ages. Adults with or without experience are also welcomed into certain classes. Students can choose to take classes for recreational purposes only or in the pursuit of a future career in performing arts.
Prima was the first school in Tyne & Wear to be awarded Recognised School Status by the Council for Dance Education & Training ensuring high standards of practice and well qualified instructors.
